Our Business Law Group is currently looking for a full-time Corporate Law Clerk.

Scope & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be a positive professional who can assist our lawyers with the utmost attention to detail. She/he will be proactive, creative and always exploring ways to improve efficiencies and meet the needs of clients, while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Skills & Qualifications Required

This individual will deal with various corporate matters including drafting legal documents, conducting research, due diligence and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: incorporations, organizations, amalgamations, changes in corporate charter, dividends, dissolutions, maintaining and reviewing corporate records, ledgers and registers, assisting with corporate reorganizations and share and asset purchase transactions.

The preferred candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Corporate Law Clerk. Excellent knowledge of federal and provincial corporate statutes and corporate procedures. Exceptional communication, technical, interpersonal and client service skills. Experience with not-for-profit corporations and estates would be considered assets.
