Andrew is a Personal Injury Lawyer and Partner in the firm.
He received his LL.B, from Osgoode Hall Law School (1993) and his B.A. (1989) and M.A. (1991) from York University. He is presently pursuing his Master of Law (LL.M.) degree from The University of Western Ontario. The subject matter of his research is the law of causation in medical malpractice in Canada.
Andrew’s legal career has been multi-faceted. He has appeared for his clients in all levels of Court in Ontario, including the Supreme Court of Canada. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario where he teaches Insurance Law. Andrew is frequently invited to speak at and lead legal education events concerning advocacy, tort law, insurance law, civil procedure and legal ethics.
He is a former President of the Hamilton Law Association; a former Director of the Advocates Society; and a recipient of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Distinguished Service Award. Most recently in April 2015, Andrew was elected by his colleagues to be a Bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada, which is the governing council of the legal profession in Ontario.
