Josh is an Associate in the Charities and Not-for-Profit Law Group.
Josh assists federal and provincial charities and not-for-profit organizations with incorporation and charitable registration, compliance with privacy laws, assessments of directors’ liability and legal risk, and corporate governance.
His practice also focuses on aspects of corporate and commercial law, including secured transactions, cooperation agreements, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements.
Josh holds a Combined Honours B.A. from the University of King’s College and Dalhousie University and an M.A. from Western University. He received his L.L.B. and B.C.L. from McGill University’s Faculty of Law. Before being called to the Bar and joining the firm, Josh completed a Ph.D. in History at Western University. His research focused on the philanthropy and advocacy of a non-profit organization and special interest group.
