Mike joined Ross & McBride LLP as an associate in 2017, after completing his articles with the firm. He is honoured to be serving his hometown community.
Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in history at the University of Guelph and his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. While in law school, Mike developed his passion for the law of torts and served as a research assistant on one of Canada’s first books dedicated to toxic torts. As a law student, he also had the unique opportunity to undertake several independent studies under the guidance of leading experts in the field of tort law.
After law school, Mike completed his Master of Laws degree at McGill University Faculty of Law. His thesis focused on the expansion of liability for privacy invasions in Canada. Mike subsequently completed a full year clerkship term where he had the privilege to work for justices at the appellate level.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys archery, fishing, and playing basketball. Recently he has taken up boxing.
