The partners of Ross & McBride welcome Martin Luxton Q.C., David Howell and John Evans to the firm, as a result of a merger between the Business Law Group of Martin, Martin, Evans, Husband and Ross & McBride, effective February 5, 2007. This merger will strengthen our Business Law Group and will help us to provide effective, thoughtful and timely advice and service to our business clients.
Martin Luxton specializes in Business Law, and Estate Planning and Estate Administration. Mr. Luxton has provided legal services to many corporations and families in the Hamilton-Burlington area.
John Evans practices in the areas of Business and Real Estate Law. Mr. Evans’ diverse practice includes financing transactions for banks and other lenders, share/asset purchase and sale transactions, mergers and acquisitions, shareholders agreements and general corporate and commercial and purchases, sales and financings of residential, multi-residential, commercial and industrial properties.
David Howell has practiced Business Law, Estate Planning and Taxation Law in Hamilton and Toronto since 1985. Mr. Howell’s practice focuses on providing legal services to owners and managers of private businesses. His clients include businesses in manufacturing, services, health care and technology industries. He has extensive experience in establishing new businesses, corporate reorganizations, business agreements, business succession planning and mergers and acquisitions.
Martin, Martin, Evans, Husband has been providing legal services in Hamilton since 1855.
