International Litigation Group Lawyers Lecture at 2005 CLLA Convention

Jon-David Giacomelli and Chris MacLeod of Ross & McBride LLP's International Litigation Group were honoured to speak at the 111th National Convention of the Commercial Law League of America, which was held in Toronto, July 13-17. Founded in 1895, the CLLA is the oldest and largest organization of attorneys and other professionals who represent the credit industry in debt collection, bankruptcy and commercial litigation.Mr. Giacomelli spoke on the topic of Cross-Border Dispute Resolution: Litigation/Arbitration/Mediation. and Mr. MacLeod's presentation reviewed key considerations in Obtaining Evidence in Canada for Use in U.S. Proceedings. Both Mr. Giacomelli and Mr. MacLeod have lectured widely accross North America on topics relevant to Private International Law; Creditors' Rights; and Cross-Border Litigation from a Canadian Perspective.
