Ross & McBride’s Staff Raise $1,500 For The United Way!

In response to the recent appeal from the United Way, Ross & McBride LLP’s staff went into high gear to dig deep into their pockets and support the organization in reaching their 2009 annual fundraising goal.
Under the guidance of Jeff Manishen, Partner of Ross & McBride LLP’s Criminal Law Group, an in-house raffle was organized with all the money going directly to the United Way. In an overwhelming response from the staff, $1,500.00 was raised in less than a week.
With the United Way agencies seeing a 25 per cent increase in the demand for services, the ability to meet the needs of the people in Hamilton and Burlington is overwhelming. As of Monday, the United Way was $227,757 shy of its Hamilton target.
