Ryan K. Smith
Ryan is an associate at Ross & McBride LLP, practising in the Business Law Group. Ryan advises clients on a wide range of business issues, including, the purchase and sale of businesses, corporate governance, business models, professional corporations, commercial lending transactions, commercial leases, franchising, and distribution agreements. Ryan also represents clients on technology and trademark licensing agreements, trademark prosecution, trademark oppositions, copyrights registrations, music and book publishing agreements, sound recording agreements, website development agreements, database administration agreements, and software development agreements. Ryan completed his undergraduate education at the University of Guelph and Universitat Tuebingen, Germany, in German Business Studies. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. Ryan articled at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune in Tokyo, Japan and at Ross & McBride LLP. He was called to the Bar in 2006.
