Jeff is a Partner at Ross & McBride LLP, practising in the Criminal Law Group.
 
He was an Assistant Crown Attorney in Hamilton from 1977-85, Past-President of the Hamilton Criminal Lawyers' Association and Past- Chairman of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Criminal Law Specialization Sub-Committee. He has instructed on trial advocacy for various law schools, legal organizations and the Crown Attorneys' Association. He has lectured on expert evidence for the Canadian and International Association of Forensic Sciences and on police testimony for various Ontario police services and the Ontario Fire College. He developed the Law Society's Charter of Rights Update Program which he has co-chaired bi-annually since 1993.
 
He has been recognized for his practice in Criminal Law by The Best Lawyers in Canada in 2006 - 2011, as well as Canadian Who's Who in 2010. He is frequently a legal commentator on both CHML AM 900 Radio and CHCH television in Hamilton. In 1983, he developed the concept of lawyers performing "Twelve Angry Men" on stage, an idea which has led to numerous productions across North America.
