Barry L. Yellin

Barry is an associate at Ross & McBride LLP, practising in the Litigation Group.
 
After completing his Bachelor of Arts in 1996 and his Master of Arts in 1998, Barry obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor. While at the University of Windsor, he was the recipient of, among other awards for academic achievement, the Charles Clark Scholarship in Law.
 
After completing his legal studies in Windsor, Barry accepted the privilege to complete a Clerkship in the Office of the Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Justice in 2001-2002. He articled with a major law firm in downtown Toronto, and was called to the Bar in 2003.
 
Barry's practice covers a wide range of business litigation including contractual matters, shareholder disputes, enforcement measures, and bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings. He acts for institutional clients, corporate bodies and individuals alike, and has appeared as counsel in the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
 
Also, Barry is an instructor at Mohawk College in Hamilton, teaching Canadian Business Law in the Fall/Winter term.
